Last January 11, 2012 I received the awards from Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley for 2011 Photographer of the Year and 2011 Wedding/Event Photographer of the Year. The year 2011 was an amazing year for me in photographing weddings. This year 2012 I’m excited and determined to do my best .

Old Town Sacramento Photography – Rebekah and Garrett Engagement Session

Rebekah and Garrett recently got engaged and are getting ready for their upcoming wedding this year. Their story of how they met is short but sweet. Rebekah and Garrett caught each others eye at school. They both are soccer players and have common friends. Thanks to Facebook, they were able to get to know more of each other and things just developed from there… We had a lovely time taking their photos in Old Town Sacramento, CA. The weather cooperated for about an hour and we were able to get a few shots in. Then once they changed to their second outfit, we had to stay indoors. It’s a good thing, there is an Embassy Suites Hotel Sacramento nearby. Embassy Suites Hotel always have good spots for taking pictures. We’re looking forward to their wedding day. Congratulations Rebekah and Garrett! Hope you enjoy these pictures…

San Francisco Wedding Photographer – Lisa and Edgar Post Wedding Shoot Part 2

Part 2 of Lisa and Edgar’s post wedding pictorials….The sun came out for a couple of hours so we were able to take some pictures outside. First, we went to Oyster Point Marina Park behind Dominic’s Banquet Hall in South San Francisco. The wind cooperated with Lisa’s veil in a few shots which made the picture perfect…along with Lisa and Edgar’s cooperation. Next, we went to The Legion of Honor in San Francisco and the Lincoln Park Golf Course. My favorite shot of both them turned out to be the one beside the golf course. It was almost sunset and they look like they were alone in the forest. Enjoy!

San Francisco Wedding Photography -Lisa and Edgar’s Post Wedding Shoot

Edgar and Lisa have been married for a few years but decided to play dress up for a day and relive their special day…but with no stress or pressure that comes along in an actual wedding day. San Francisco weather forecast for that day was supposed to be raining ALL DAY. We said if worst comes to worst, we would just take some pictures in the Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport Hotel in South San Francisco California. Here is a sneak peak of Cesar and Ben’s work in the hotel. We were happy that Ben was able to join us in this photo shoot during his short visit with us. Benjamin Young III is one of the highly valued Wedding Photographers in the Philippines.

Well, the sun came out a few times during the day and the rain held out until the end of the photo shoot. So we have more to show…check back soon for the rest of Lisa and Edgar’s dress up day! :)

Elk Grove Wedding Photographer – Barry and Noelle Engagement Session

Congratulation Barry and Noelle !

This engagement session was an adventure for me. Barry and Noelle picked the spot in Folsom at The Old Folsom Bridge. We then walked and walked and walked in The America River parkway and found several nice spots to photograph the couple. The place was so beautiful, I didn’t realize we were walking a long distance. Barry said we walked approximately miles to get to where they wanted to be photographed. I’m like “NO WAY! Did I walk that far? With just one 8 0z. water bottle?!!!!” My body did feel it the next day but it was all worth it for the sake of art. I got the pictures I wanted, the couple got the place they wanted, we had fun, and hopefully you enjoy the pictures! The only thing I regret that day was that I forgot to put sunblock! It was 100 degrees…
