Congratulations Ryanne and Arvie!

Part 2 of Lisa and Edgar’s post wedding pictorials….The sun came out for a couple of hours so we were able to take some pictures outside. First, we went to Oyster Point Marina Park behind Dominic’s Banquet Hall in South San Francisco. The wind cooperated with Lisa’s veil in a few shots which made the picture perfect…along with Lisa and Edgar’s cooperation.
Next, we went to The Legion of Honor in San Francisco and the Lincoln Park Golf Course. My favorite shot of both them turned out to be the one beside the golf course. It was almost sunset and they look like they were alone in the forest. Enjoy!

Last month January 06, 2011 I received my two awards for 2010 Photographer of The Year and Wedding Photographer of The Year from Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley (PPSV). These motivates me to shoot more and be creative for my clients and brides this year 2011.
Thank you so much!

Here is a teaser of Odette and Joe’s Wedding at The Reef in Long Beach California. I will post more pictures soon.
Congratulation Odette and Joe!

Joe and Odette
It was an exciting day last July 21, 2010 . First, I was waiting for UPS to arrive for my 16×20 print and it came around 6pm. Then the deadline to submit for the Professional Photographers os Sacramento Valley (PPSV) print competition is at 6:45 pm and I still have another appointment meeting at 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. So I asked my buddy Ruben Edgardo if he could pick up my print and bring it to the PPSV meeting to submit it at Dante Club in Sacramento. Thankfully it got there on time. Thanks to Ruben Edgardo Gongalez.
I got there at the PPSV meeting at 7:30 pm and the speaker was Tim Engle showing his style of lighting using flashlights in his portraits. Then the print competition started at 9pm. I was so nervous because I didn’t know what the judges will say about my print. However, I’m so happy it scored high for superior quality! My print “The Mansion” got the Best of Show and Speaker’s Choice Award! Thanks to the judges David Mckay, Ally Mckay, Tim Engle, Thomas Kuhl, Sandra Harris and James Hays.
I would like to thank you also for the bride and groom Mea and Lendon. Thank you for trusting me to photograph your wedding. I know we had quite a way to walk to the mansion, but it’s all worth it and the pictures we took will last a lifetime.
